Each year, the ladies of GVF Alumnae chapter get together to support the March of Dimes through their WalkAmerica fundraiser. March of Dimes raises money to fight premature birth, the leading cause of newborn death and many lifelong disabilities. Traditionally, this is our biggest fundraiser, and it’s so much fun!

This year, we walked a 6.3 mile course through Pottstown. The weather was perfect, and the event staff provided a TON of nutritious munchies before, during, and after the walk. Many folks walked with their canine friends. Our group included two babies, who were mostly content to enjoy a somewhat bumpy stroller ride.

All totaled, our chapter raised more than $300 dollars!
