On Sunday, April 29th, our team took on the grueling Pottstown walk for the March of Dimes
(well, ok, maybe not grueling, but it was six miles with a lot of hills!) Along the way, we
met a lot of teams walking for specific children – daughters, sons, granddaughters, etc.
We even had a chance to meet the famous children themselves (riding in wagons and strollers, wondering
what all the fuss was about). Some of the stories were very touching.
Altogether, our team raised $400 to sponsor research, community services, education and advocacy to
prevent prematurity, birth defects, and low birthweight.
